A nurse takes a blood sample from a young boy at the headquarters of the Humanitarian Project against Malaria, Poverty, Hunger and Illiteracy at Kasamu in Kyali Mpigi District. Here, mothers wait on line with their children to get basic healthcare services. The project is made possible with a Health, Hunger and Humanity (3-H) Grant from the Rotary Foundation, the Rotary Club of Muyenga, Uganda and the Rotary Club of Genk-Noord, Belgium. The major aims of the project include fighting malaria, improving general health, economic development, assisting farmers, helping orphans and the poor and fighting against illiteracy. The project is expected to be completed by 2011.UGANDA
